They obviously provided them with far bigger budget the series. Also allowed them to split the studio into two teams and launch a new ip so late in the generation. Also Uncharted is my favourite franchise this generation and i've already thanked Sony by buying 2 and 3 on launch days. @(what's this for? You made me laugh xD). As I said, I'm not discussing the achievement Uncharted was. You're not the only one, lots of people love Uncharted, myself included. No, I guess they don't.
You're missing my point. I'm not being harsh. I was pointing out facts. Sony forced Naughty Dog to change the concept of their game. Whether their older concept would have turned better or worse than Uncharted is irrelevant. You shouldn't thank a publisher who forces its developer into changing their vision of a game because of market share.
