EA and Disney partnering for Star Wars games is brilliant. Criterion, DICE and BioWare are all capable developers who have made brilliant games in the last few Years. Star Wars is brilliant. 

This is brilliant news.

The temper tantrum started when it was too late to justify canning the projects. That's all.

The lack of brilliant news is because a golden license has been handed over to, hands down, the worst big player in the industry, who just happens to have some (admittedly) brilliant developers under their jackboot.
