If this actually happens, is it going to be the first time a PlayStation home console actually gets the superior version of multi-plats?

Oh you mean you have forgotten that the PS1 generally had much better versions of multiplats than the Sega Saturn?

Did you look at the graphics of Resident Evil on the Saturn, or maybe Wipeout vs the PS1?

Saturn had better 2D ports mind, but who cared about them....(at the time).

RE1 was notably better on the Saturn with extra content, higher poly models, and noticeably better textures. Tomb Raider was mixed. Otherwise I agree in general.

The extra content was laughable. I know it because I had this game. The models looked worse than on PSX like every other 3d-game. I loved my Saturn (that gamepad...) but 3d-games were worse. Fact. The lack of being able to render transparencies made almost all games look worse on Saturn. And Tomb Raider was mixed? What was better with TR on Saturn?

They're higher poly regardless, if you found them to look worse that's a subjective concern. Extra content is about as laughable as any pluses for RE1 on PS (fire transparency and FMV resolution) so there's that. Draw distance on TR iirc.

I'm not debating PS was better at 3D which I already conceded, and I far prefer my PS, just setting the record straight here on a common misconception on RE.
