Well, Final Fantasy XIII "opens up" in the final quarter (Gran Pulse), but that doesn't change the fact that 75% of the game is a corridor fest.  Just like FFX was, but I often see people regard X as the "last great Final Fantasy" - which in my opinion, was IX.

But no, I don't remember that.  I got up to fighting Sin on the airship towards the game and had enough, so never finished it.  People keep telling me to give it another go, perhaps I will with the HD Collection.

Well ffx was packed onto that little 4 gig disc so it was more understandable

 

Ff13 had blu ray.......

 

What was their excuse then? Lol

 

Oddly enough, the game was actually originally going to be bigger before they butchered it
