sony liked the 360 architecture enough to want the same die. the 360 being the more powerful system but lacking the massive storage capacity that bluray provided sony.

heres the kicker im waiting to see ps4 with a newer blu-ray with higher capacity and leaving ms with a bottom line blu-ray.

funny thing i sort of laugh at the sony side for laughing at microsoft turning the xbox into an entertainment center. while in the pass bashing xbox for not being able to play blu-ray movies. the biggest seller was ps3 played blu-ray games came second. embrace the entertainment. there are more casuals than gamers #dealwithit

Sony wants to win the living-room with PS4 as much as MS wants, fact.

But what is that with the bluray-drive with higher capacity? Bluray was easily enough this gen and it will be nextgen. There is no advantage in higher capacity. Especially when you realize that download-games will be pushed further by MS and Sony - nobody wants to download games with >50 gb install size.

exactly.  they really do  get amnesia.  most of their arguments against paying for live would say you have to pay just to watch netflix.  they often compare app count.  :)

bluray> lol true indeed.  but keep inmind the new system download while your playing so its not like you really have to wait.  both systems are always on always connected so that is really not even a factor.

gotta love it.  i sit on the fence with popcorn
