This continued movement away from faith and the belief that man can set its own moral values will only lead to negative outcomes for society as a whole. The lefts egalitarian movement is based too much on the idea that man is inherently good, but this flawed idea is what will eventually lead to its own failure. After all, man is not inherently good he must be taught and disciplined to be good and religion has been a useful tool to effect this end.
