Having to unlock the highest difficulty.
It's my biggest gripe with Uncharted and some others especially when I have to play on the hardest one to get platinum. I don't want to play on the second hardest just to unlock the hardest. It's so annoying on that first playthrough when I'm thinking after getting every difficult checkpoint "that's going to be even harder next time and I'm going to have to do it all AGAIN!." If your game is good I'll replay it on easy in the future many times (as I've done with Uncharted and many others), but don't force me into another frustrating run as the satisfaction isn't even there on the second hardest because I know I've got to do it all again.
