I HATE Heroes of Might and Magic (Because I suck at it, mainly). I played as a kid and could never pass the second chapter! (As humans, if I recall correctly, they were the first campaign.). I grew up hating that game :(

Damn you and your ineptitude! *wriggle cane in your general direction* I pirated that game as a kid because I had no money, then I got the real version somewhere down the line and then again when it went on GOG. Every time I bought the game I spend more than 500 hrs on it like a crack addict with an unlimited supply of crack.

But the BEST way to play HoMM is with a friend in hotseat on a MASSIVE map with 6 other ai. Build you empire, take out the NPC and prepare for the FINAL BATTLE against your friend to conclude an epic saga on the rise and fall of dynasties!
