You mean Japan right? In the US, the Vita hasn't moved from the RRP. However the Wii U has dropped by £100 here in the UK, so now it is cheaper for me to go and get a Wii U than a Vita. Ultimately the Wii U has had more of a price cut than the Vita.

Like the thread says, they are similarly disastrous so don't pretend the Wii U is doing any better than appallingly. But they have different issues and both can be saved, the Wii U just needs games and the Vita a price cut.

No I meant US BUT now that you mention Japan and even UK, you're only proving why the Vita situation isn't even CLOSE to the Wii U. Since people in this thread still can't seem to grasp the differnce.

Wii U

-No Price cut

-Not much software

-Not much GOOD software

-Not much advertising since launch

-No high-profile titles from existing series yet (This includes 1st + 3rd party + don't even mention the lazy ports of series like Assassin's Creed)

Vita:

-Numerous Price Cuts worldwide

-More than enough software

-More than enough GOOD software

-Numerous attempts at advertising since launch including bundles and individual games

-A fair amount of high-profile titles from existing series (1st + 3rd Party)

What I am trying to get at here is that the Wii U hasn't even BEGUN to try to garner sales. Vita has been trying for a year and still isn't gaining any traction. Sony has played all their cards with Vita, Nintendo has played none of their cards with Wii U.

In the most simple way I can state it, you're comparing a ripe apple to a half rotten orange. Do you guys understand or what?

Wii u: had a mario game,monster hunter,dragon quest,Wario

Psvita:No monster hunter,no MGS,no  Grand Tursimo

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m
