I think people have a lot of misunderstandings here.

I'm not entirely sure if you meant me and others that say the same, or used me to point to point to other's 'misunderstanding'.

I don't see how it's not. Or how else I could describe it compared to Mario and Zelda in a way that emphasizes the difference. I didn't mean to say it's like Contra or anything, but it's an action game nonetheless. The point is, Nintendo made three pillars (not like the GBA, Wii and DS of course ), which were fundamentally different. Because they were the first, those are the 'big three' .
