Virtual Reality was the wrong word to use in the first place.
Virtual yes, but reality suggest that our brain is plugged on a machine that emulates an actual reality, with emotion, sensation, complete vision and action.
If you are talking of Virtual Boy or Oculus Rift kind of VR, then as much as I like VR and Nintendo games turns out they don't fit together.
Virtual Mario? Virtual Kirby? Virtual Super Smash? Maybe virtual Metroid Prime
