I'm up to chapter 8 in Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Omg, I love it. It's a lot slower than the home console versions, but I actually quite enjoy that. It feels more like an adventure game, rather than an action game like the main series felt like (especially 2 & 3). I'm loving having to explore everywhere to find photographs to take and all the hidden treasures and charcoal rubbings and what not. It feels like a much more interactive experience than the other games ever were. I understand the complaints about the forced controls, but honestly none of them really bother me. I could do without swiping during combat, but since it slows down anyway it's not really too much of a hassle. Honestly, my only complaint with the game so far is that the fire effects are absolutely hideous. So many developers seem to find it really hard to make pretty fire =/ Well, that and Chase & Dante aren't great. She's like a lesser version of Elena, who in turn wasn't a patch on Chloe. Next Uncharted Vita needs more Chloe.
edit: And the opening few chapters exploring through the jungle while the sun is setting are absolutely GORGEOUS. I can see why they opened with those to show what the Vita is capable of.

I recently finished this game and the only real disappointment I had was the major boss fights. They are just super extended screen swipe quicktime events. Too long and no challenge at all. I know they're supposed to be "cinematic" fight sequences like the Snake vs Liquid fight at the end of MGS4, but I was seriously bored because all you do is swipe the screen over and over and over. After all that buildup I was just totally underwhelmed. Other than that though the game was fantastic...
