Ubisoft? Indie titles? Uh..

Err... you do know they release them yeah? Highlander for example was from Ubi soft. They actually release a reatail box with some of their games.

Highlander? What's that? (I know the films..)

No I didn't Know Ubisoft released Indie games..I thought indie games were games released without publisher support (publishers like Ubisoft)

edit: I see your edit, but: I Am Alive is a survival horror[5][4][6] video game developed by Ubisoft Shanghai and published by Ubisoft. Doesn't sound indie to me.

I see the confusion. I classify all small "xbox live arcade/PSN" downloadable games as indie games. not saying Ubi soft itself is a developer of indie size. But, as you can see they make smaller downloadable titles aswell.

Ok I see. It'd be out of character of them to develop a small downloadable title (I took a gander at the List of Ubisoft Games wikipedia page and indeed I Am Alive and a game called Outland which I think is the one you were reffering to were their only PSN/XBL titles) but if you want to be really pessimistic about it sure. I mean as a Vita owner, you might as well get the practice in

On a slightly off topic note, the term indie is similarly misused and abused in the music industry and it really irritates me.

Outland! Thats it, well spotted. It was puzzling me to no end. lol

Yeah, its a pessimistic view. But that way i can be pleasantly surprised if im not right. I liked Liberation more than the main entries so i hope another AC is indeed incoming. Its one of the best selling Vita games aswell so it can only help drive more sales.
