Jega you own a Kinect, do you? What I think will happen is the casual gamers will get into the kinect 2.0 and then get bored with it and move on.

Since Kinect 2 will be included with every console, I think what will happen is people will get over themselves, realize the technology has potential to improve their use of the console and gaming, and integrate it into their every day lives.

People who use Kinect on a frequent basis now, love it.  Doesn't matter if it's for gaming or otherwise.  That isn't to say the current technology couldn't be improved.  It can and it will be.  However, while Kinect hasn't necessarily lived up to the hype due to technical limitations, that doesn't preclude it from being useful.

You don't see a use it in, but to the person who can sit down to their console, and say, "Xbox Play " and it does it, it's a useful feature.

People wont get over themselves, not if they are asked to pay 400+ for Kinect 2 especially the casual audience 250-300 will be the sweet spot for them, not saying no one will buy it ever, but who knows how long it will take for the price to drop that far. Whether its better or not is kind of irrelevant.

Don't be ridiculous.  They won't be paying $400+ for Kinect 2.  They'll likely be paying $400 for an Xbox console which includes Kinect 2.  If the rumors are true, they could be paying $300 with a subsidized price.

The majority of the group that would play the games that Kinect 2 are gonna play (dancing and such) are not going to pay 400 if thats all they are interested in, and lets be real their is a large segment that only cares aobut that. like Kinect before it and Wii before it, its not called the JD crowd for nothing.
