While that's true, it's only half of the picture.  It's more complicated than that.

The Vita is struggling, but it's against a rival that had already found its groove before the Vita was even released.  The Wii U, on the other hand, is struggling against old systems, with it's same-gen rivals releasing later this year.  Those rivals are going to steal all the publicity and will probably blow the Wii U out of the water in terms of big third-party releases.

Yes, there are positives in the Wii U's situation but there are also negatives to consider.
