Now you're at it again. You're calling the Wii U a disaster despite the lack of the aforementioned games. I'd certainly agree if you called the Wii U's launch a disaster, but you can't go beyond that at this point. Heck, to some degree same goes for the Vita as well: Grand Theft Auto, a new Monster Hunter and a proper Call of Duty title may do wonders for the system.

Fact remains though that the Vita is facing a much worse situation. Handhelds are expected to sell more units and end up with a much lower software tie ratio. Selling on par with Wii U hardware-wise is not a good sign for the system. And ending up selling N64 numbers would be a disaster for a handheld.

Both are disasters. You can't say "if it had games it wouldn't be a disaster". If the games aren't out it's a disaster. We'll see when the games release, but let's be honest, the WiiU is selling much worse than, say, the PS3 ever was, and that needed loads of price cuts and SW to correct, more than WiiU is getting with it's current prices and 3rd party support.

REGARDLESS, I'm not here to discuss whether WiiU will outsell Vita. It may well happen. It's a failure for Nintendo as Vita is a failure for Sony. All else is just speculation about what might happen in the future.

I find it funny that people argue about failing consoles. Can we stop arguing about this?

All I did was to adress the part where you said that the Wii U has little to no chances of selling "well", which I thought was jumping the gun. Other than that I agree: The dooming discussions needs to stop.
