Lets be honest, if the next box is 6 months delayed it wont release this year. If it does it will go through a nasty drought of games Wii U style. Actually the rumor that says they have cancelled project in itself is worrying. Why would they cancel exclusives they will need so much down the line? If trustworthy sources at GAF are to be believed MS pocket book and cash will more than make up the difference

i see more speculation over on NeoGaf than actual confirmation, also this should labeled rumour.
