Ratchet and Clank. If it gets made into a successful movie (doubtful) then another (proper) Ratchet and Clank game on PS4/V is a certainty. If the Ratchet and Clank movie bombs (or never gets made (more likely)) then a PS4/V R&C game is still on the cards. But yes, Insomniac does need to find itself a multiplatform IP that will sell well for it to be worth anything to anyone other than Sony.

Who owns the rights to the Ratchet and Clank IP?  If it is Insomniac, then they could get bought for that IP.  If owned by Sony, then they have nothing.  Same would go with Resistance.  Who owns the IP?

Sony and Sony. Still, I don't think Insomniac are in much financial trouble and one failed game wouldn't do too much to hurt them, especially if EA paid for this deal.

Yes, But I bet Insomniac has contractually superglued R&C to itself, so Sony can't just take R& C away from Insomniac without some compoensation. Probably the same with Resistance, but Resistance doesn't have much street value.

Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters was made by High Impact Games. Insomniac wasn't credited anywhere in the game. Sony fully owns the IP rights to R&C and can have any developer work on the series without the approval of Insomniac. I haven't looked at Resistance: Burning Skies but I assume the same is true since Nihlistic developed it.

On topic: I'll buy Fuse, but not until it's very cheap.
