Not sure about percentages, but I think you might be right. I bought mine in 2008, played a couple of games and almost haven't touched it since 2009, when I bought a ps3. It's still a good move from Nintendo, but I doubt enough people will read it to have any kind of effect on hd sales of wiiu. 

Still, it's good to see them trying, but maybe they should invest some of that money they have on marketing around October and with a price cut see sales increase significantly.
