If install base really mattered that much, no platform would ever gain momentum. Might as well cancel all PS4 and 720 projects, because those platforms have zero install base. As for "moneyhatting", how the do you think third parties got so comfortable as to think they can order platform holders around to the point where one can't even bargain for deals to rescue a flailing platform? What comes around, goes around.
