This PCGA is pathetic. Members of the PCGA include representatives from Intel, AMD, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Dell, Acer, Activision and Epic Games. AMD, Intel, nVidia, Dell, and Acer aren't really going to do anything different. They'll just keep building good hardware.

That leaves the 3 software publishers in this: Microsoft, Epic, and Activision. This list is pathetic. They are missing all of the biggest PC developers right now: Valve, THQ, Blizzard, and EA. The only major PC software publisher there is Activision, and they support Steam.

What this PCGA looks like to me is a pathetic attempt for Microsoft to bribe more publishers into supporting Windows Live. If they really cared about PC gaming instead of stuffing their wallets more they would drop it and move their published software to Steam. I only hope Activision doesn't fall for their bullshit and keeps themselves separate from Microsoft's trojan horse online system.

Edit:  I still hate Epic, but Mark Rein just scored a few points with me for calling Cliffy B an idiot.  He gets some respect for keeping his non-Microsoft published games out of Windows Live too.
