Can the Wii U do the same effects as a PS4? I don't think anyone has disputed that, so sure. - But it simply cannot have as many of those effects running in tandem or to the same quality degree, I think that's the point you're missing.
To be honest though? I don't want the Wii U to have allot of multiplatforms, I already want the PS4 to be more powerfull, If the Wii U gets allot of Multiplatforms it will work out to be the baseline hardware for next generation games which is a bad thing for my primary gaming platform of choice which already is so far advance compared to the consoles it's not funny. I want a reason to upgrade my PC, not run games fine for the next decade with sub par graphics!
