Back in late 2007 my friend sold me his 20GB 360 with about 10 games for $90 because it had RROD'd and he was sick of dealing with it breaking (was the third time for him). So once I got it I promptly sent it to Microsoft to get fixed for free and it went on to work just fine for years afterwards.
