Exactly. They are more alike than most want them to be.


This will be MSFT/Sony's way of creating good relation ships with Publishers/developers who have been screaming for DRM.  

And for people saying EA will crash and burn.....If they do it right people will buy the games that use it.  SimCity is a bad example but games on steam are a good example which is also a DRM.  People won't mind as long as it is done right.
