Whenever the Wii's best lookers are discussed, it comes down to games like Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Kirby's Epic Yarn, and Muramasa. These are beautiful games that deserve such accolades, but what about the few games that actually made an effort to attempt realism despite the system's limitations?

What game do you think did the best job of creating realistic graphics on the Wii?

Realism attracts adults. Cartoons attract children
. Guess who Nintendo is after...and you'll find out why realism isnt their thing. Even Samus is an anime character. Its the reason why games like Super Smash Bro's have characters that can function in a single realm without clashing stylistically.

The best graphics that I've seen out of the Wii was probably Super Mario Galaxy. Instead of pushing realism Nintendo excells at vibrant, popping colors that catch the attention of the viewer quickly.

This statement is debatable especially dependant on design styles but I do agree for the most part Nintendo aims more toward a family friendly audience with most of their IPs.

That being said, when I hear realistic graphics, I believe graphics that edge as close as possible to realistic proportions and locals.

-Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles

- The Conduit 2

-Deadspace: Extraction

- The Last Story

-Resident Evil 4 (As sad as that is but there is little doubt it is the best looking 3rd person action game on the system)

- Metriod Prime 3/Other M

- Monster Hunter Tri (particularly the monsters themselves)
