Too early to call.
What make people believe that both PS4 and Xbox720 will sell like hotcakes? Don´t people learn from the past ?
Both consoles will be expensive and will have a slow start and Nintendo is likely to have better sales at the first moment, with the advantage of low price. It doesn´t mean that they will "win" this next generation, but they´re likely to have a head start.
The market won´t be as acessible in 2013 and 2014 as it was in 2010 or 2011. Consoles will again become niche and won´t sell as much as the last generation Times are changing and consumers are changing. Lots of developers (and the manufacturers as well) are struggling. We will see fewer AAA titles in the future. Casuals are flocking to tablets and smartphones, PC gaming is on the rise again.
