If You Haven't Bought a Wii U, Why Not?

#1 will mostly never get one as they will largely prefer first party of MSony and just go that route. But there is a smaller sub-group that is just waiting for that exclusive game or set of games. So a small portion of this group will buy one eventually.

#2 and 3 will eventually get a Wii U.

I doubt that's the case since Nintendo has only released one of their big games (2D Mario). There's still plenty of games unreleased like Smash Bros, Mario Kart, etc. that a lot of people, including Nintendo fans, are waiting for. So I wouldn't be surprised if a fairly large portion of fans of those games haven't bought a Wii U because they are waiting on those games. Labelling them as a "smaller sub-group" is probably wrong.

OT: No point in buying a new console when my current consoles are keeping me more than busy at the moment.
