First off I loved my 3DS. I had a decent relationship with the Wii, but I'm a XBox fanboy at heart.
The reasons why I won't buy a Wii U? Quite a few
- Too pricey for a secondary system which is what I would use it for (pretty much all Nintendo exclusive titles). Again, as a secondary system. I'm not going to blow $300 after blowing $500+ on the next xbox.
- Graphics while comparable to the 360, will not be up to 720/PS4 standards, so while it was nice for Nintendo to get better graphics It's more of "Too little, too late" when it comes to the eye candy department.
- It has no games. At least not right now, that could change by November/December, but In It's present form it doesn't have enough.
- None of my friends have one. About 70% of my gaming time has been spent playing with friends. The 3DS satisfies my solo experience as well as on the go experience.
It's just that simple.
