Highly doubtful

A game in Finaly Fantasy gets its number from the universe its set it.  Final Fantasy 13 versus is in the same universe as 13 is, thus why its named as such.  If any new game that features MIdgard or stuff from FF7 comes out, it would be FF7 (something)

If a ff7 sequal I guess game out, it woulnd't be ff15, it would be FF7-2 or something like that.

it wasnt the same universe, it was said at the time that the fabula nova crystallis titles shared the same mythology/lore but were set in different worlds with different histories. the story behind ethros and the divinities is the only connection.
