That's just the thing though, they're not pushing out great games. There is no 1st party title announced for Xbox 360 this year. NONE. ZIP. NADA.

Do I need to mention the cycle they've put themselves in? Gears, Forza, Halo, repeat.

They have a new console coming out this year. Sony might be rebounding in 2013 from an abysmal 2012 year of games, but MS is not. However, even with that said, in 2013 MS is bringing up games like Crimson Dragon, Lococycle, Ascend, Gears Judgement, Motocross Madness, State of Decay, and Super Time Force. Plus who knows what they will show at E3.

You Sony guys act as if this is some new strategy for MS. They have relied on little retail "AAA" games and a lot of awesome XBLA content this entire generation. The difference between Sony and MS seems to be that Sony doesn't mind investing money making a title available at retail even if it won't sell, and MS would rather put the lower return titles on XBLA. You wouldn't see a Smash Bros clone or Mario Kart clone by MS at retail, it would be on XBLA. Sony opted to put theirs at retail and relied entirely on them in 2012.

As a gamer all I care about is playing good games. No console has been void of them lately for me. But why am I saying this to you? You don't even own a 360. How would you know how good these games are.

Do you own a PS3? I don't see how this is relevant to the discussion. Dont call me a "Sony guy", I find it offensive. Don't bunch me up with other peo'le and certainly don't take my opinions as opinions of the entire "Sony" fanbase. Do it again and I'll have to report you.

You make a great point though. Games like PSABR ad LBP Karing shouldn't have released at retail, certainly not at $60. Sony made a big mistake with their 2012 lineup, it was rather weak. Nothing wrong with trying to push new IP though. You gotta try new stuff and you gotta try to push new IP.
