And its funny that you say that, cause 20 euros is what it costs here.

SSIV and UMvsC3 were sold for $40 and not $60 like their original versions.    Dark Arisen is also sold for $40.  But the extra content is only worth $20.

 

The euro is worth more than the dollar, but not double. In dollars it would be 30 at best. Its still an awesome deal, theres nothing to complain about. Just see the reactions of other people on this thread.

For the record, they made quality of life changes that are retroactive to the whole game. People like to hate, but i really like this kind of cheaper with more content expansions/re-releases. Old time fans can get extra content and sell their used copy of the original. Newcomers can get everything for a reduced price. Everyone wins. I dont get the hating.

If you are an owner of the original just sell it and it will net you the price to around 30.

For me all the changes are worthless because the core experience it is the same.  All of those changes could just have been included in patches, but NO! Capcom needs to re-release the games and slap in the face the people who bought the original.  Obviously new comers get the better deal.  And the "hardcore" (addicted) fans will just give them their money, just as it happened with SSFIV and UMsC3.     The "true" extra content  is The Island of Bitterblack, which is not worthy the $40. They should have done it a $20 DLC.

It is not a matter of not having the money to buy it, it is a matter of being worthy of my money and this game is not.   If you want to continue supporting their re-releasing practices then continue to buy their re-releases, but I wont.  I really thought Capcom would have changed after the crappy sales of UMvsC3, and the horrible attention they are gathering from the players because of these stupid re-releases; but nope they are still the same.   All they will obtain for this, is that all their "version 1" games will begin to sell like crap because everyone will wait for the re-release.  At least that is something I am going to do with every Capcom game from now on.


If you dont care about the changes, the game isnt for you. Move along.

For the record though, i will support such releases whenever i can. I see them as positive to everyone. Look at netherealm with Injustice. I would much prefer they had developed Ultimate Mortal Kombat with more content modes and 10 new characters than the waste of time that is Injustice. A worse version of the original mortal kombat that will most probably tank hard.
