2. It's a hypocritical act. Why only allow homosexual couples to marry but still discriminate other forms of partnerships such as polygamy, siblings wanting to marry a sibling and friends wanting a protected union with several friends?

1. Religion does not have a monopoly on the term marriage, it's simply a worldwide cultural ceremony that can include God, or not.

2. Agree - there should be no discrimination here. Polygamists/Hetero/Homo should all be encompassed in the legal definition for marriage. I'd even support siblings who want to marry even though I'm repulsed by that idea. It should read "...between two or more humans."
