I wonder how Nintendo and Sony have handled developing markets differently that allowed the PS2 to continue selling for years, while the DS basically died outside the US a year ago. |
The 3DS has pretty much overtaken the DS. The small difference in price between the systems plus BC with DS games means very few will choose the DS over the 3DS. Nintendo isn't present in most of the developing markets and even if they were it'd probably benefit the 3DS more anyway.
