You live in the UK.  This makes your disdane for pizza understandable.  While Pizza Hut isn't the best pizza, we do actually have awesome pizza here in the US.  Most of it is local stuff, but there are often regional chains that do a fantastic job as well.

While UK is beyond salvation when it comes to food ;) US really can't compare with Europe when it comes to pizza (and food in general). The amount of fat you get in a pizza, sodium and other crap is just crazy, let alone the fact that you can't make a real pizza in a gas oven...


I beg to differ. we make the some of the best pizza in my pizza place. we use nothing but fresh ingrediaents with no added preservatives. living in CA we also have access to an abundabce of fresh vegetables, a variety of different kinds of meats, and veggies too.
