You're wrong. Capcom is a very creative company. The problem comes when they want money, and then they cripple their beloved series with derivative sequels and add-ons and microtransactions. Which is a shame.

Unfortunately this is all the time. Just look at their main franchises. Street Fighter and Monster Hunter are the most guilty of this. Even Resident Evil was turned into a bland and generic action game. It's so bad that they have a trope named after their (dis)honor.
