Phoenix, hand's down. Extremely powerful and intelligent, immortal, yet you can choose to be reborn and re-live your life if you wish, which would be an incredible experience which would make immortality bearable. Also it should be noted that in quite a bit of lore, the Phoenix is capable of taking human form as well.
