Except that they improve the dpad right? Major complaint against the controller was the dpad.

Yup. I don't know why though since I had no problems with the D-pad at all. 

its not as good as the PS controller but its not that bad. my main grip with the controller is the AA batteries. the bump at the back for inserting them just makes the controller less comfortable to hold. i wish they would get rid of them.
