I'll give you that PS3 made an IMAGE comeback, but not one in sales. And this is a sales site and we're talking sales. But yeas, PS3 made an image comeback.

PS3 outsold X360 for the better part of 2008, and sold on par with X360 for most of 2009 as well. And making a "huge" comeback would mean PS3 outsold ALL of the competition by a mile, which it hasn't. It's still in 3rd place, even though the gap has more or less been closed. So it hasn't made a "huge" comeback. It's just continued to sell better than X360.

The point is, if Sony hadn't launched their comeback plan, then the 360 could have very well taken 2009 like it did 2008.  The PS3 could have outsold it slightly early in the year, but when the holidays hit, 360 sales would have exploded.  Because of the price cut, Slim, game releases, and advertising, that didn't happen.  And you can't really judge this til its over.  I mean what if the PS3 goes on to sell 110M-115M and the Wii stops at 102-105M, the 360 at 85-90M?  That's a damn big comeback from where the PS3 was at in 2008.  You're trying to judge this as if all sales are in and final.
