Here is mine:

Audio chip for 9.1 DD surround sound and location based multidimensional audio

15 free hours of online play a month

more dedicated server games

psn+ features like free and discounted games, share options etc

1)  I'm not sure if it'll be 9.1 or not, but I do believe location based multi-dimensional audio will be.  There were a few patents Microsoft received to do with this, including one that included the use for wireless audio speakers.

2)  I don't think this will happen.  I believe based on a few features I've read about that the machine will now have a subscription, not the users.  Therefore as long as you have a subscription on the box, everyone who uses it benefits.

3)  I don't think there is any benefit to this.  Even on PSN, the games have moved away from server-based to peer-to-peer.  If a game has a large number of users, definitely, and Microsoft recently received a patent for the ability for people to observe the game, so this may require a dedicated server.

4)  Microsoft already offers discounts on games, both Xbox LIVE and Games on Demand games.  As for the other PS+ features, I doubt they will likely adopt them.  I do believe Microsoft will offer a rental service that includes free rental of games.  A recent patent for DRM suggests this with multi-tiered DRM.

1. Microsoft has to stay competitive, they only reason they didn't change xbl too much this gen was because psn sucks, now they will have to make some changes.

3. There was a technology ms came up with a few years ago that was sort of torrent like with a server backend but they never added it to xbl, hopefully with nextbox we get it.

4. I was speaking of super low discounts for psn+ members and free games per month

Also, HMC ram since it is finalized and set to start production by the end of this year, hopefully MS puts in more than 8gbs so the OS overhead won't be a problem.

MS is constantly changing and updating Xbox live. Live is a different beast today than it was a t release, and will be different next year than this year.

xbl has not changed, they have updated it sure, but the core is still the same. They have to have more for silver users and gold alike.

Kinect? that changed the core for me. apps? that changed the core for me.

updates, and still behind a paywall; ms needs to expand the xbl userbase and give better incentives to upgrade to gold. Also they need to make xbl and their features available in more areas.
