LoL @ people claiming the other products in the division ruined the results and not the PS3.
5 of the 7 years on the market the PS3 was included in a division with only profitable products (PS2, PSP and Vaio) and the division still reported losses for the most part (4 of these 5 years showed losses).
The other 2 years were the FY endind March 2012 ("consumer" division, everything included) and the current one including the Vita.
Even their own CEO said the PS3 would never be profitable, but some VGC forum members are still in denial. good stuff.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
