I noticed earlier today that the Red & Blue Vita's were in the top 10 bestselling products in videogames on amazon.jp. They've gone up and down during the day, but as of the time of writing this the Red Vita is #09 and the Blue Vita is #12.
It's not too often you get hardware in the bestseller list unless it's a LE bundle (at least since I've been checking the site) so I'd hazard a guess that this is a sign that amazon got new stock and there's an early surge of popularity for it. We'll have to see how much that translates into real-world sales on Wednesday, but hopefully it provides somewhat of a boost.
