Your posts in here are some of the most informative and seemingly non-agenda, or ideal boosting I have seen from posters here usually. But, I just wanted to point out the data in your graphs according to the website is only based on the US and Canada, and not the world.

Also, do not accidently type Chikita instead of Chitika when looking at the source like I did, or you will get pictures of a nudy model.

Ow i know thats us and canada.. These were easy to find freely.. Every month i have to read these reports like these for my work but i cant share much data out of it cause of contracts.. But world wide there is a similar trend going on.. For examplw While the amount of downloads of apps are the same for ios and android is the same 100% vs 90% this first quarter 2013 (korea and japan drives up android while china drives up ios) The amount of revenue is 250% vs 100% which is frustrating for developers.. It seems that Android users only want free stuff.. Ad wise and app wise the money is at Apples side.. So while Android is selling more then iOS people don't actually choose for android.. They just want a smartphone and ow look it has android on it.. Not that android will go away cause it great for manufacters not having to spend millions on an OS but it could be much better then it is now but google isnt really doing much about it except making their own ad system better.. Its also pretty impossible to change the mindset of android users about free stuff vs paid.

Thats also why advertisers and developers are eyeing windows phone very closely.. Hoping with its closed store, minimum device requirements,  it would be more like apple. But it will take some time for WP to create a viable userbase for advertisers and developers.. There isn't any doubt it will have one the only question is when..

I assumed you did know. I just wanted to clarify for others. Well, another informative post, thanks. As a consumer myself I know most people do not care about Andriod it just happens to be there in the device you want. I generally do not buy things on google play mostly because there is a ton of free content and because game wise the google play store does not offer much. So my own patterns reflect your ideas. Still I doubt I would act differently if I owned  Apple devices.
