Hate is a strong word, but I do have a 360 and I had live gold for the first year. I Just don't game online that much so I didn't think it was worth keeping it. Escpecially since it didn't go all that well the first year. Headset quality was disappointing with everything I said echo'd back to me, bought a new headset, didn't help. I only played 4 games online that year. COD2, didn't really like the online. PGR3 for some reason I could only talk to one of my friends during the race while the rest were muted. TDU 4 out of 5 online races would disconnect when launching a race, incompatible NAT type. GeoW didn't like the people online, co-op with friends turned out to be quite boring when not playing local in the same room, not as much fun. |
microsoft does something like that, for example this weekend gold is free, they been doing this several times a years for a while now, there are also many deal on systems where you get xbox live gold free for a month giving you a sample to see if its worth it
