http://gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/17897/why-cant-i-play-the-xbox-live-arcade-games-ive-bought-without-an-internet-conn

This is what I'm referring to. XBLA full games that have been payed for get reverted back to trials.

That's a license issue. Idk how anyone could read that and assume all games require an Internet connection. Just admit you had no idea what you are talking about.

Most of the people who blast Xbox Live have no idea what theyre talking about

People are not allowed to make mistakes? Here's the full story.

People who have had multiple Xbox 360s get licensing issues when playing XBLA games and DLC offline. Games revert to trial mode and DLC doesn't work at all. That's because the system ties your Xbox Live account to one system and doesn't let you use that content on other systems unless you sign in. This is an anti-piracy measure which I at first mistook for DRM.

Now I don't know if there is a way to deactive old and broke Xbox 360s and disassociate them from your Gamertag, but I know PSN has this feature and it allows for a PSN account to be tied to 2 PS3 systems.(down from 5) PSN games still work offline and so does DLC though.

This issue is more common than you would think, especially in the early years of the 360.
