No, bc msft is transitioning to a period where tablets and smartphones are eating up PC sales, and msft will never have a chance to best Android or IOS, so future sales look mediocre

Do you even read after you write your comments?

In those 40years new tech has been coming and going and still MS is still in the game what makes you think tablets and Smartphones will be any different?

To even produce the content for your tablet or smartphone you NEED the PC right now so stop your BS. Macs are included in this PC category I am talking about, you may be able to reproduce Office apps like Word and such but it will take a long time until you can efficiently develop games, apps and programs on a Tablet or smartphone

I agree  MS is still well and truly in the game , but the you need PC's to develop  argument is a bit thin , it seems to imply that alone would keep them in the game when the number of PC's used for that purpose is very small % wise in overall PC numbers , but like you said MS is a strong  player and as the bonus of being cemented into peoples/businesses daily lives , something they can use to leverage their software across other products.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot
