My magical moments include going to Walmart shortly before the release of the N64 to sample Mario 64 on an official Nintendo display of the console. It was like nothing I've experienced at that time. The ease with which you moved Mario around and how fun doing just that was... 

Here's some other magical moments of my gaming life: 

I had waited years for this game back then, reading about it in obscure magazines and in the end, it blew me away. Rarely does a game meets and exceeds my expectations... And the score! Still my favourite in the whole series. And especially the theme playing in that video:

 

The game for which the Dreamcast was created for:

Of course, Final Fantasy VII. The first time you [finally] get out of Midgar and get a glimpse of the actual "world map".. It was an awesome feeling. And then you get plenty of hidden locations, multiple crazy vehicle types (The Buggy, of the Sunken Gelnika!)... Geat times.

But at the end, the ending to that game was probably the most magical moments of the whole experience. So here it is:
