I was originally so hyped for this game, bought it day one and have even put hundreds of hours playing it. I hate the game. It's not that it's a Smash Bros clone that I like or dislike it. It's not that it's not a fun game, because it "was" actually very fun.
There are multiple reasons why I dislike the game, but all those together are the reason I hate it. The biggest reason starts with patch 1.05 where the netcode goes from acceptable to bad and it seems to only get worse with each new patch. The hundreds of game breaking bugs and glitches that you can't play an hour without your PS3 freezing atleast 27 times, again, getting worse with each new patch. The final issue wasn't originally much of an issue, atleast not until patch 1.10 is balancing. Sure there are plenty of overpowered characters, but the movesets were complete. Patch 1.10 nerfed characters so much that there are attacks that were once overpowered, now being completely useless. It's like taking a gameplay element completely out of the game.
I like a lot of characters in this game, but favorite characters or not, I couldn't care less when the game itself isn't any good and every patch only makes the game even worse.
