I wasn't impressed by the demo either, but the gameplay seems smooth.
I'm still mindblown by Dead or Alive 5's graphics, that's possibly why the game didn't impact me at first sight - Wonder Woman is no near as good looking as Kasumi, Ayane & Co. :P.
But the game seems decent, I might get it later.
