Yes, but it was called Service Pack 1 and was free.
The errors that MSoft are doing with Win8 are just ridiculous for a company so big and with such experience. At least there seems to be some hope...
Windows 8.1 could allow for Start Screen bypass
But by now, I'll stick with Win7.
