The rest of your post I don't agree with at all but that bolded part was very accurate. I didn't like ODST or Reach that much and 4 had fun MP...but that's about it. For me its:
Halo Combat Evolved
Halo 2/ Halo 3
Halo 4
Halo 3: ODST
Halo Reach
I'm not even gonna count wars...
